Resulting from a non-optimized manufacturing procedure of vials and stoppers used for aqueous injectibles, these primary packaging components can be occasionally contaminated with traces of silicon oils in a ppm range. |
BioChem has developed a sophisticated method via GC/FID to measure silicon oil traces both in lyophilized material and in aqueous solutions after reconstituting the lyophilized drug.
Based on that know-how that we offer to our customers any company can contribute to an increased safety for patients using its parenteral medicaments.
