As of 15 October 2022, personnel changes will take place within the management of BioChem Labor für biologische und chemische Analytik GmbH.
Dr Jochen Kolb will be appointed as Managing Director of BioChem Labor für biologische und chemische Analytik GmbH, Karlsruhe, as of 15 October 2022.
From 2011 to 2016 Dr Jochen Kolb already managed BioChem’s Analytical Department before he took over as Managing Director elsewhere. His new start at BioChem began in 2020 as Technical Director, Authorised Signatory, Member of the Management Board and Head of Analytical Department, which he has successfully developed further with numerous innovations. In his new position he will be contributing his more than 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical-chemical industry.
The previous Managing Director of the laboratory, Dr Jürgen Branke, is taking on a new professional challenge after around 12 years with BioChem. He will serve as our Managing Director until 15 October 2022 and afterwards as technical-scientific consultant until further notice.
The position of Head of the Analytical Department, which becomes vacant due to Dr Kolb’s transfer, will be taken over by Dr Jan Bonnet as of 1 November 2022, for whom he has been acting as deputy for about two years. Prior to BioChem, Dr Bonnet already held various management positions in the pharmaceutical industry. He will support Dr Kolb as Technical Director and both will continue BioChem’s successful path together.
Dr Lysan Massmann, Managing Director of BioChem Holding Beteiligungs- und Management GmbH, expresses in a letter to BioChem’s customers her great regret about Dr Branke leaving the company and wishes him all the best and much success for his new challenge. She congratulates Dr Kolb and Dr Bonnet on their appointment as Managing Director and Head of the Department respectively and wishes them every success in their new responsibilities.
